TEDU AND ÇANKAYA MUNICIPALITY STUDENT DORMITORY WAS OPENED
The 420-bed dormitory, built in cooperation with TED University and Çankaya Municipality, was opened with a ceremony.CHP Vice-Presidents, Party Assembly Members, deputies, Dr. Murat Tarımcılar, TED University Rector, besides lecturers and many citizens, students living in the dormitory participated to the opening ceremony hosted by Taşdelen, Çankaya Mayor, and Selçuk Pehlivanoğlu, TED University Board of Trustees Chair. Speaking before the opening ceremony, Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen said, “We gave our land to our young people in an area where shopping malls, business centers and residences are rising. The reason is that we know that the best investment for a country is its investment in youth. ” said.
Selçuk Pehlivanoğlu, TED University Chairman of the Board of Trustees, said, “This dormitory that we built with our Mayor of Çankaya, Alper Taşdelen, who is a member of our TED family, gave great strength to our University. I would like to thank everyone who contributed, especially Taşdelen. ” said.
Our dormitory with a capacity of 420 beds in Mustafa Kemal district consists of two blocks, female and male students. In the dormitory, the construction of which was completed in a short period of 10 months; There are all kinds of areas such as study hall, social area, infirmary, refectory.
